Sarah Glover and Juan Peralta Ramos Kids Workshop
Join Chef Sarah Glover and Chef Juan Peralta Ramos as they team up for a kids workshop.
Juan is a young talented Argentinian chef, born in Buenos Aires to a family dedicated to the breeding of cattle and agriculture. Since young, he was seduced by fire and the ceremony of eating. Juan worked with Francis Mallmann touring the continent from New York, Brazil to Uruguay and the Patagonia.
Recognised for cooking in the outdoors, his knowledge, passion and defence of fresh local ingredients.
He teams up with Sarah for a kids workshop where they seek to educate children to the source of the food they eat, how to treat it with respect and how to have a ton of fun.

During this intimate day your kids will learn
Fire building: Selecting wood, wood placement, fire structure and maintenance.
Cooking with fire: Approach to both flame and coal cooking under the instructions of Sarah and Juan.
Cooking over the fire your kids will create (and enjoy):
Starters: Selection of classic Argentinian Asado starters.
Sauces: Argentinian style sauces to pair with fish.
Fish: Learn both simple and complex fire structures designed to cook both small and larger 10kg + fish.
Salads: Using local and native ingredients.
Vegetables: Cooked over the fire.
Dessert: Cooked over coals.
All this will be enjoyed with Sarah and Jaun in the beautiful intimate setting of the River Hawk Ranch Byron Bay, where you will have a chance to reflect on the days learnings, enjoy fire flavours of the cuisine and discuss cooking techniques with both chef's in a causal relaxed setting.
