Community Dinner at Rising Co, California 2023
On a sunny Southern California evening in December, I teamed up with local community co-op Rising Co to host a community dinner beneath the palm trees. It was a career highlight to be cooking in a parking lot a block away from the world famous beaches of California. I’m not sure what was better - the actual feast, or the feast for our eyes!
A lot of the community came out to celebrate the coming new year with us, and it was great success. Highlights of the menu included beautiful Tasmanian beef, wild line-caught salmon, nailed to a board, rainbow salad, pizza in the Gozney, and smashed potatoes.
