Salmon Pizza


In the past, I was never a massive fan of seafood on pizza, but I think this combination hits just right. I love it with salmon, but you can use another protein or seafood if you prefer. For me, what really brings this pizza together is the way the creme fraiche changes the dynamic, creating pure creamy goodness.



Ingredients

1 ball pizza dough

1/2 cup creme fraiche 

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese

200g salmon, sliced

1/4 red onion, sliced  

Olive oil 

Salt  

Black pepper

Small pitch fresh parsley, chopped  

Handful of capers, if desired

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Heat your Gozney pizza oven until it reaches a temp of 800 F (425 C).

  2. Remove the dough ball from the fridge at least 3 hours before you want to make pizza.

  3. Open the dough ball, top with creme fraiche, fresh mozzarella, salmon, red onion, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

  4. Bake in your Gozney pizza oven for 60-90 seconds.

  5. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Add capers, if desired.

  6. Slice and enjoy!
