VEGETARIAN RECIPE
Seaweed Butter
This recipe is a staple in my cabin down in Tasmania, I use Seaweed dried such as bull kelp or sea lettuce, all you have to do is leave this in the sun for an hour and you have dried seaweed. You can buy this from most fish mongers or harvest yourself ifyou have access to good clean water.
Ingredients
1½ cup of dehydrated seaweed blended into a powder (you can use fresh too, just make sure it’s well minced)
2 cups of butter
Equipment:
Kitchen Aid
Black + Blum container
HOW TO MAKE IT
Attached a balloon whisk to your kitchen aid, and add the butter, beat till it’s become light and fluffy.
Add the seaweed and beat for another minute or till it’s well incorporated.
Spoon this onto your oyster and cook in the coals or add to any seafood dish, even
cook your fish in it, its super yum on a pizza too.
Keep in the fridge in a airtight container, and or roll into a log and warp in cling film
and freeze.
