Squash Pizza “Pie”


Let’s make a pizza for the veggie lovers! The great thing about pizza is you can play around with the flavours. I love how caramelized the squash (or pumpkin) becomes when cooked twice – first on it’s own in the Gozney, and then again on the pizza.



Ingredients

1 ball pizza dough

1/2 cup cream fraiche  

1 cup sliced squash / pumpkin, cooked 

1/2 cup fresh mozzarella cheese

Fresh rosemary or oregano 

Ballerina Farm Sea Salt

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Heat your Gozney pizza oven until it reaches a temp of 800 F (425 C).

  2. Remove the dough ball from the fridge at least 3 hours before you want to make pizza.

  3. Open the dough ball, top with creme fraiche, fresh mozzarella, and squash/pumpkin slices.

  4. Bake in your Gozney pizza oven for 60-90 seconds.

  5. Sprinkle on herbs, salt, and olive oil.

  6. Enjoy!
