Bino or Bam Bam. Bam Bam kind of suits the cabin :)
IN YOUR OWN BREATH
A free spirit who ended up in New York City!
If you could only pack 5 items for your Driftwood Cabin stay, what’s in your rugsack?
We went in winter, so I would say… Board games, gumboots so you can hike in the rain and keep those feet dry, a few bottles of wine, your best friend / lover / sister, a curious spirit and a switch so you can switch off from the real world!
If you could take (with Sarah’s blessing), 5 items home from Driftwood, what would you snag?
Ooooh that is a hard one, the attention to detail and treasures around the cabin are so beautiful, its like being in a Robinson Crusoe book. All the little knick knacks are hard to beat, from the cups, to bowls, candles, books, shells… once you go you’ll know!
What was your fav cook-up at Driftwood?
We went to the farmers market and picked up some many yummy veggies which we grilled on the outdoor fire, and made the sea water pizza YUM!!!
What was the best meal you had in Tassie?
Before we left, we swung through Hobart, and went to the Mona and had a little picnic at the Harbour as the sun went down (and just before our flight)... it was the perfect goodbye.
Did you get out to nature while in Tassie? If so where did you go?
Sure did! I also think we saw about 5 rainbows a day. It was sunshine, rain, sunshine, rainbow, repeat. One of our favourite places we explored was Cubed Coffee truck up at Eagle-hawk Neck, as well as an ice cold swim right out the front of the cabin.
What adventure are you itching to go on next?
I have been dreaming of going on a camping hike for a while… I’m not sure where or when.. but maybe the east coast of Tasmania to get into the wild a little more!
