Margherita Pizza


A classic, and according to Chef Ines Glaser from Lupa Cotta, pizza guru and queen, it’s the one you should start with and master. The simplicity of this pizza is what makes it amazing, so don’t try to adjust the toppings (haha, like me). Just nail this pizza first, and then move on to the freedom of pizza cooking.



Ingredients

1 ball of pizza dough 

Tomato sauce

Fresh basil

Fresh mozzarella  

Olive oil

Salt

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Heat your Gozney pizza oven until it reaches a temp of 800 F (425 C).

  2. Remove the dough ball from the fridge at least 3 hours before you want to make pizza.

  3. Open a dough ball, use fingers to push dough into a round shape.

  4. Top with the tomato sauce, Parmigiana Reggiano, fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil.

  5. Bake in your Gozney pizza oven for 60-90 seconds.

  6. Slice and enjoy!
